The RAE defines emergent as an adjective that means that something is born, comes out and has the beginning of something else.
Depending on the context, it can have several nuances:
-
Literally:
Something that emerges , that is coming out of a hidden or deep place into sight or light.
Example: "The sun emerged from behind the clouds." -
Figuratively:
It refers to people, ideas, movements, or projects that are in the process of growth , that are not yet known or established , but that have potential, are taking shape, and are beginning to stand out .
Example: "An emerging artist", "emerging entrepreneurs", "emerging economies".
This isn't a celebrity podcast or a show about viral success stories. Instead, we focus on real people who are starting businesses, personal projects, brands, or any kind of venture that allows them to achieve their own version of success.
Each episode of "Emerging Talents" is a space to get to know those people who are building something, but without the pressure of having to be famous to feel valued. We're more interested in the process , the daily effort , and what it takes to make the decision to keep going, even when there's no guarantee of achieving the desired outcome.
What unites all our guests is their dedication and work ethic. They aren't seeking fame, but rather to make their dreams a reality . And we want their stories to inspire all those who are just starting out.
